I am one of Chef Naveen’s biggest fans, right from the time he used to work with Jonathan’s Kitchen. So, when he moved to an all veg restaurant, Tatva, I was sure that it was going to be an amazing dining experience every time I visited this classy place. Tatva has charming interiors, starting from the hanging lights to the corner-most show-piece. The restaurant makes sure that the ambiance haunts you long after you have left the place.
Moving on the best part, the food. I am a hardcore non-vegetarian and obviously I blame my bong origin. But if I am allowed to dine at Tatva every day, I would not complain much and would happily give up on meat. Yes, Tatva serves that amazing food! The best thing about Tatva is the fact that it hosts the best food festivals! I have been to their two most amazing ones, the Mexican food festival and the Mango-dessert festival!
From the taste to the plating and the pricing, everything is perfect to the last detail. If I could I would ask everyone I know in the city to just give this place a try and thank me with a dinner at the same place.
The salads are to die for, caesar and waldorf being my favorites! The sweet and spicy water chestnut is a must-have. Love the tangy taste and the crunchy feel it has. They tend to get it right with every dish! I loved loved loved the pasta they serve. Honestly, I think it takes a lot of effort and experience to cook such amazing vegetarian delicacies on a regular basis and kudos to Tatva for doing that, every time!
And yes, did I mention the non-alcoholic Toddy they serve! Yes, they are also trying to come up with non-alcoholic tequila! Can you believe that! I am a genuine fan of the restaurant. It just takes fine dining experience to a different level. If you really want to have excellent food, especially vegetarian, please just visit them, period.
